Small Business Brand Photography
I’ve worked with some fantastic small businesses who’ve totally got this. Let’s take - Vagabonds Barbers a great local barbers business in Stoke-on-Trent headed up by Jamal, who started the business from scratch a few years ago, with a clear vision of making it that little bit different and to create a strong brand for his business. And boy has he achieved it.
I love working with these guys and I never fail to capture some really cool images of them doing what they do best. I always take a mixture of what you might call more posed photos, as well as some shots of the guys in action. While these guys are pretty comfortable in front of the camera I get that a lot of people aren’t, but that’s where I come in. I’m also a highly experienced wedding photographer so I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to get people to relax and just be themselves.
There is no one that I know who totally represents their brand and business better than Miki, a proud Mancunian who founded the Manchester Shop at the iconic Manchester landmark Afflecks Palace. A colourful character, with a huge personality, who not only runs the shop but designs and sources all of the products on sale. So when Miki asked me to take some new photos of her shop and products, there was no way that she wasn’t going to feature! (along with some of her very cool friends). And I’m sure you’ll agree that the results are pretty awesome.
